“I love all kinds of flowers. But my all-time favorite is rose. Every year in May, the Centifolia rose blooms and gets harvested in Grasse. I always look forward to going back to the fields at this time of the year to intoxicate myself with their exquisitely delicate scent while feeling the softness of their velvety petals—kissed by the early morning sun—caressing my fingers when picking the flowers. In Rose Citron, I aimed at capturing this delightful synesthetic experience.”
